NOTICE OF CLOSED SESSION:
The Board of Commissioners proposes to go into Closed Session following the Board’s Work Session on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 7:00 PM pursuant to Md. Code Ann., General Provisions Article, Sec. 3-305(b) (1) “To discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of appointees, employees, or officials over whom this public body has jurisdiction; any other personnel matter that affects one or more specific individuals,” and Sec. 3-305(b)(7) “To consult with counsel to obtain legal advice.” The closed session is proposed for the Board of Commissioners will discuss a personnel matter involving the appointment of a Town Administrator and the terms of proposed lease of space for the Police Department.
