3.OLD BUSINESS

    1. Work Zone Safety Training completed April 26th.

    2. Chainsaw Training completed May 3rd and May 4th.

  4. D.Keypad entry locks have been installed in City Hall at Customer Service, City Clerk, Finance and Engineering Departments.

  5. E.As a reminder, the data card printer has been set up.  All departments should have pictures taken of employees so identifications badges can be created.  Upload photos to S:\Common\Personnel Photos.

  6. F.As construction season begins, it is important to report any unsafe procedures/practices by subcontractors working in the area and other departments.  If you see something, say something. This is to protect each other and prevent injury or more serious situations.

6.FUTURE SAFETY TRAINING EVENTS/SESSIONS

  1. A.Plants, bugs and Heat & Our Responsibilities to Contractors is scheduled for May 31st at 7:15am and 12:45pm and is located in the City Hall Council Chambers (1-hour sessions for field employees only).

    Community Emergency Action Plan Review is scheduled for June 19th at 7:15am, 8:30am, and 12:45pm in the City Hall Council Chambers (1-hour sessions, all employees encouraged to attend).

    Stop the Bleed Kit - Update on training schedule

7.ESTABLISH NEXT SAFETY COMMITTEE MEETING TIME AND DATE

  1. A.Next meeting tentatively scheduled for Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 8:15am.
