3.CDA Action Item: Consider Proposal for Purchase of 2.5 Acre Parcel at the Woodland Industrial
Park to Driver Solutions, Inc. (DBA Rush Logistics) for Construction of a New, 6,000 SF facility

Recommended Action: Motion to authorize a purchase agreement for the property, at a price of
$11,000 per acre ($27,500):

--With waiver of the industrial park protective covenant requiring construction of a minimum of
2,500 SF of building per acre of land (would be a minimum of 6,250 SF in this case);

--Subject to all other industrial park covenants, site and architectural review requirements; and

4.CDA Discussion Item: Status of Sandy Bay Highlands Subdivision Phase 3 Project

--Bid for Phase 3 utility and street infrastructure awarded by City Council on August 5; will extend municipal infrastructure to serve 26 additional home sites

--City Council will consider conveyance of the Phase 3 property to the CDA for marketing and sale, as With Phases 1 and 2

--CDA at its next meeting will consider Phase 3 lot pricing and realtor listing contract

6.Closed Executive Session—Business and Industrial Development Committee
The Business and Industrial Development Committee reserves the right to enter into closed
session, per Wisc. Stats. 19.85(1)(e) deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session
--Consider loan application from Pop-Start Restaurant Group, LLC for a $60,000 loan to assist in restaurant project at 1033 22 nd Street (Former Luigi’s)

7.Reconvene in Open Session
--Possible action by the Business and Industrial Development Committee in follow-up to its
closed session discussions
