b. Set up a citizen lead cooperative for self-policing the program and to create relationships with local food banks for donations of surplus produce e.g. like with eggs, participants cannot direct sell and make a profit from their goods.

3. May 2023 presentation – Steve Lankton, UW Manitowoc Master Gardener, presenting on pollinators and pollinator gardens.

B. Explore Grant opportunities for environmentally related activities that are complementary to and cooperative with future City projects - ON-GOING
1. Watch for opportunities for green infrastructure
2. Grant applications need to be considered two years prior to project
3. Look at development of green infrastructure near Water Plant where it would be visible from Memorial Drive and/or from the trails in the area
4. McMahon Associates will be preparing and submitting an application for an Urban Non-Point Source & Stormwater Planning Grant on behalf of the City
