E.  Partnership with Van der Brohe Arboretum
     1.  John Durbrow would like input from the board regarding including a section focused on
          green infrastructure to include DIY rain gardens and vertical plantings, for example, and
          the scope of our involvement.
          a.  What is our goal?  Stormwater mitigation?
          b.  Why is this important? - prevent toxins, solids, pollutants from entering the stormwater
               system
          c.  Where?  Discuss how much land we will need/can use.
          d.  Who is responsible for design, costs (plants, seeds, etc.) and maintenance?
          e.  Plan in 2024 and start work in 2025
F.  Bee City designation
G. Low mow May

A.  Paddler's Park
     1.  Riparian planting - native species (Corinne)

     1.  Started researching non-traditional/dwarf vegetable plants and first pass layout for
          2025 trials
C.  Northeast Lakeshore TMDL/Urban Non-Point Source Grant
D.  Update on front yard vegetable gardens/gardening
     1.  Start publicizing now

     4.  Where do we go from here?
          a.  Set up citizen led cooperative

F.  Winter Educational Series dates and topics (proposed)
     1.  October 10, 2025 - John Durbrow - Arboretum current and future projects, plans and events
          and the importance of trees and wildlife.
     2.  November 14, 2025 - Sue Crowley(?) - Intro to birding - attraction and feeding and
          birds of prey
     3.  December 12, 2025 - Tara Wachowski (?) - Stormwater management for the homeowner - 
          How to design a rain garden and suggested plants
     4.  January 9th, 2026 - Titus Seilheimer - Threatened and endangered fish species, fish farming
          and planting, big picture focus on the fishing industry, both commercial and charter.
     5.  February 13, 2026 - Mike Mathis (?) - Tree inventory and emerald ash bore update;
          TR parks - grants received and past, present and future projects     
     6.  March 13, 2026 - DNR Wildlife of Wisconsin (?) - What to do if you come across an injured
          wild
     7.  April 10, 2026 - Michael Ditmer (?) - Light pollution and animal confusion
          animal and nuisance animals and how to deter them.  Also state wide wildlife issues, etc.
     8.  Add a May date to offer a program on the importance of sustainable development for future
          generations.
     9.  Hand out Corinne's short survey to attendees in order to determine where and how
          they heard about the educational series and what future topics they would like more
          information about.
