WORK SESSION

1.Councilmember Gotovac wishes to discuss the subject of fireworks with a view toward amending the Tenino Municipal Code.
2.Councilmember O'Callahan wishes to review the status of Library repairs/maintenance.
3.In preparation for this years Budget Development Process, Mayor Fournier would like to review the City's FIT tool products.

5.Payroll EFT's and checks #28390 through #38396 in the amount of $45,833.24, and Claims Checks #28397 through #38426 in the amount of $23,876.80, for a grand total of $69,710.04.
6.New Applications: None

7.Councilmember Lawton asked to be excused due to a work conflict.

Recommended action: Move to excuse Councilmember Lawton from the July 23rd Regular City Council Meeting.

8.Comes now Ms. Fay Bronson to request an adjustment to her utility account on the basis of abnormal water consumption. The attached document is the contents of an email outlining the basis for her request.

Recommended action: Since Ms. Bronson admits to no leak in her water system, move to deny Ms. Bronson's request as it would amount to a gift of public funds.
9.After many months of searching, the Administration, in coordination with Planning Commission Chair Will Rutherford, has selected Mr. Alex Murray as the Administration's nomination as Planning Commissioner, Position 5 and wishes to present Mr. Murray to the City Council for Confirmation.

If confirmed, Mr. Murray would replace Commissioner Beckie Stevens in the number 5 position, which term expires in February, 2025.
10.Mr. Joey Smione, Brightwire Networks, will present their proposal for Information Technology services.

11.This is the second Public Hearing for the City of Tenino 2020 Capital Improvement Plan.

This Public Hearing is the result of input gathered from the first Public Hearing with the intent of finalizing those capital expenses intended to be included in the City's 2020 Municipal Budget. The purpose of this hearing is to ensure those items selected for inclusion in the 2020 Budget reflect the priorities of both the Administration and the City Council.

12.The FIGR Committee has recommended the City install two benches on the west side of Olympia Street as per the Farmer's Market FIGR request under the condition that the City Council accepts the "in kind" contribution of the Farmer's Market as adequate (keeping the streets swept during the operation of the Farmer's Market) and expressly authorizing the excess of $600 under the terms of the Grant.

Recommended action: Move to approve the FIGR Committee's recommendation as written.

13.Ordinance 904 would amend the Tenino Municipal Code to add Chapter 2.70, Arts, Recreation, Culture, and History (ARCH) Commission.

Recommended Action: Move to accept as the second reading and adopt Ordinance 904.
