   The National Flood Insurance Program has released an updated 2026 Model Flood Damage Prevention Ordinances for local coastal communities in North Carolina to implement into our own flood ordinance.

   Recommended Action: Motion to recommend approval or denial of the draft ordinance to the Planning Board.
