NOTICE: THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD IN ACCORDANCE WITH EXECUTIVE ORDER N-25-20, ISSUED BY CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR GAVIN NEWSOM ON MARCH 12, 2020, THE RALPH M. BROWN ACT (CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54950, ET SEQ.), AND THE FEDERAL AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT.
THIS MEETING WILL NOT BE PHYSICALLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. ALL MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE MEETING VIA VIDEO CONFERENCING AT:
The public may address the Council on any item of public interest not otherwise on the agenda that is within the jurisdiction of the City. No action may be taken. Matters to be addressed may be referred to City Staff or placed on a subsequent meeting Agenda. Speakers are limited to a five (5) minute presentation.
Items on the Consent Calendar are considered routine and will be voted on in one motion unless a Council member or member of the public has a question or wishes to discuss an item. In that case, the item will be removed from the Consent Calendar and considered separately.
5.Approval of disbursements in the amount of $153,263.82 for payroll, inclusive of employee salaries, employer and employee taxes and retirement contributions, miscellaneous voluntary employee deductions, holiday pay and other adjustments.
6.Motion to approve first reading and introduction of Ordinance No. 877, reading by title only, waiving further reading, an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Sonora approving the First Amendment to the Development Agreement By and Between the City of Sonora and Hazing Bulldog Farms, LLC.
7.Award the City of Sonora Generator Project electrical services contract to Macklin Electric. Authorize the City Administrator to execute all documents relating to the contract for electrical services as part of the Public Safety Power Shutoff Grant.
8.Accept the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020/21 Mid-Year Budget Update with recommended changes to account for the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the City’s revenues and expenditures; and approve related budget adjustments and accompanied budget transfer (requires a 4/5s vote).
