Notice of the 7th Regular Meeting of the 2023-2024 Common Council at 6:00 PM, MONDAY, July 3, 2023 in City Hall, 3rd Floor - Council Chambers, 828 Center Avenue, Sheboygan, WI. RECEIVE THE R. C. AND ADOPT THE SUBSTITUTE RESOLUTION

• 30.R. C. No. 38-23-24 by Public Works Committee to whom was referred Gen. Ord. No. 8-23-24 by Alderpersons Dekker and Rust amending Sec. 60-131 of the 2023 Sheboygan Municipal Code (1997 Code sec. 134-181) so as to prohibit use of the city-owned boat launches during the Mercury Midwest Challenge Event; recommends amending the Ordinance so that Section 60-131 Subsection (c) reads as follows: No person shall launch a boat or other watercraft or otherwise utilize the designated municipal boat launch site at Deland Park, nor shall any person park a boat trailer or other vehicle in the parking stalls near the boat launch site at Deland Park that are designated for vehicles with boat trailers only at any time from August 8 through August 14, 2023, except with the express written consent of the mayor; such consent shall be granted only as part of the City’s role in promoting safety during the Mercury Midwest Challenge Event. This subsection does not apply to the 8th street launch (at the intersection of south 8th street and riverfront drive). RECEIVE THE R. C. AND ADOPT THE SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE

• 31.R. C. No. 39-23-24 by Licensing, Hearings, and Public Safety Committee to whom was referred Gen. Ord. No. 9-23-24 by Alderpersons Salazar and Felde amending Sec 38-27 of the 2023 Sheboygan Municipal Code (1997 Code sec. 1-28) so as to delete certain fees; recommends adopting the Ordinance.
