4.CONSENT AGENDA: Items included under Consent Agenda require little or no deliberation by Council. Approval of the Consent Agenda authorizes the City Manager or his/her designee to proceed with conclusion of each, in accordance with staff recommendations as reflected in the minutes of this meeting.

6.REGULAR AGENDA

  1. A.Discuss and consider approval of making Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive a two-way street from W. Columbia Street to Barrett Street.

  2. B.Presentation by Beasley, Mitchell & Co., on the City of San Augustine 2023 Audit.

  3. C.Hold a discussion and consider approval of the ICE 287(g) Task Force Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).

  4. D.Hold a discussion and consider adopting and Ordinance of the 2025 Amendment to the Water Conservation and Emergency Water Management Plan. 

  5. E.Discuss and take action on the proposed tax rate. If it exceeds the voter-approval rate or the no-new-revenue rate (whichever is lower), take a record vote to place the proposal on a future City Council agenda and schedule a public hearing for September 15, 2026.

  6. F.Hold a discussion with City Council on the proposed FY2026-2027 Budget.
