The Subcommittee may vote to go into Executive Session pursuant to M.G.L. ch 30A, section 21(a)(2) for the purpose of preparing for contract negotiations or for conducting contract negotiations with the Town Attorney. Under the Open Meeting Law, a public body may go into executive session to conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with nonunion personnel or to conduct collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with non union personnel.
