In accordance with Governor Baker’s Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G. L. c. 30A, § 20, relating to the 2020 COVID-19 emergency, the Town Council may meet remotely to avoid group congregation.
This is a hybrid meeting. The public is invited to attend this meeting remotely, via phone or computer, or in person. The Town Website will be updated on the day of the meeting with the phone and computer access instructions.
The Subcommittee may vote to go into executive session pursuant to M.G.L. ch. 30A, section 21(a)(2) for the purpose of preparing for contract negotiations or for conducting contract negotiations with the Town Finance Director/Town Accountant. Under the Open Meeting Law, a public body may go into executive sessions to conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with nonunion personnel or to conduct collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with nonunion personnel.
