BE IT KNOWN THAT a City of Richwood City Council will meet Monday, August 12, 2024, beginning at 6:30PM at Richwood City Hall, located at 1800 Brazosport Blvd. N., Richwood, Texas 77531 with the following agenda:

  1. A.Final review and action on re-plat of lots 4 & 5, Block 1, of the Havenwood Subdivision (A066 J.E.Groce) in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Richwood.

  2. B.Public hearing and action considering the rezoning of Lots 7 through 18, MARQUIS AT MAGNOLIA (REPLAT) (A0066 J E GROCE) (RICHWOOD), from R-1 Single-Family Residential to R-2 Two-Family Residential.

  3. C.Public hearing on adopting Land Use Assumptions and a Capital Improvements Plan associated with imposing an amended impact fee.

  4. D.First reading and discussion of Ordinance 24-518, amending, imposing and updating water and wastewater impact fees on new development in the city limits to the extend allowed by law, to be adopted September 9, 2024.

  5. E.Public hearing and action on the 2024-2025 fiscal year  proposed budget of the Crime Control and Prevention District.

  6. F.Discuss and consider approving Resolution 24-R-89, setting the date and time for the Public Hearing for the 2024-2025 fiscal year  Annual Budget for September 9, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

  7. G.Discuss and consider approving Resolution 24-R-90, setting the date and time for the Public Hearing for the 2024-2025 fiscal year  proposed tax rate for September 9, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

  8. H.Consider and record vote for proposed tax rate for the 2024-2025 fiscal year of $0.535799 which is a tax increase of up to 6.64% above the No New Revenue Tax Rate for the City of Richwood, to be adopted at a future meeting.

  9. I.Discussion regarding Fiscal Year 2025 proposed budget.

  10. J.Discuss and consider adopting ordinance 24-517, amending Appendix C—Fee Schedule of the Code of Ordinances to amend utility rates.

  11. K.Discuss and consider approving Resolution 24-R-91 authorizing signatories for the contractual documents and documents for requesting funds pertaining to the Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) Regional Method of Distribution (MOD) Program.

  12. L.Consider items removed from consent agenda
