PUBLIC NOTICE OF MEETING
The following item will be addressed at this or any other meeting of the city council upon the request of the mayor, any member(s) of council and/or the city attorney:
Announcement by the mayor that council will retire into closed session for consultation with city attorney on matters in which the duty of the attorney to the city council under the Texas disciplinary rules of professional conduct of the state bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the open meetings act (title 5, chapter 551, section 551.071(2) of the Texas government code).
(All matters listed under the consent agenda item are routine by the city council and will be enacted by one motion. There will not be separate discussion of these items. If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered separately.)

  1. 1.Consider appointment and/or re-appointment of representative(s) to the Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission (GCRPC) General Assembly and Board of Directors.  Presenter is Jody Weaver  

  2. 2.Consider Resolution No. R-071326-1 for intent to submit an application to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs for 4% Non -competitive Housing Tax Credits, State Housing Tax Credits, and Multifamily direct Loan funds for Cottages on Independence.  Presenter is Jody Weaver  

  3. 3.Consider Resolution No. R-071326-2 to authorize submission of a Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) Grant application for water projects.  Presenter is Wayne Shaffer  

  4. 4.Consider Memorandum of Understanding between the Texas Department of Public Safety and the City of Port Lavaca for Texas Statewide Communication Interoperability Plan (TSCIP).  Presenter is Tobie Bias 

  5. 5.Consider request of the Animal Control Department to declare one (1) fleet vehicle as surplus and authorize the disposal of said vehicle by releasing it to Enterprise Fleet Management to auction off.  Presenter is Tobie Bias

  6. 6.Consider Second and Final reading of an Ordinance (G-7-26) of the City of Port Lavaca amending the Code of Ordinances, Appendix A - Fees, Rates and Changes; Chapter 24 Law Enforcement; and providing an effective date.  Presenter is Tobie Bias  

  7. 7.Consider Second and Final reading of an Ordinance (G-8-26) of the City of Port Lavaca amending the Code of Ordinances, codified and described in the City of Port Lavaca’s Code of Ordinances as Part I, Chapter 2 Administration, Article V Finance, Division 1 Generally, Sec. 2-126 Credit Card Convenience Fee; providing for purpose of ordinance, providing for severability; providing a repealing clause; and providing an effective date.  Presenter is Brittney Hogan

  8. 8.Consider First reading of an Ordinance (S-4-26) of the City of Port Lavaca for amendment(s) to the Base Ordinance S-4-25 for 2025-2026 fiscal year budget; providing for Budget Amendment(s); providing for severability, providing a repealing clause; and providing an effective date.  Presenter is Brittney Hogan
