Emergency Services Director Hankins and/or Police Chief Kerr will update the Board on the EMS personnel/volunteer roster and on-call system.
Police Chief Kerr and/or Emergency Services Director Hankins will update the board on the medical dispatch program.
Emergency Services Director Hankins has requested the Board discuss (and possibly make a recommendation to the Assembly) whether or not the Borough should pursue an ordinance providing that all local commercial boat rental agencies require proof of completion of a national or state approved boater's safety course in order to rent a powered boat in the Borough.
Police Chief Kerr received a request from a local resident to close Severson's Subdivision to vehicle traffic during trick-or-treating this year. The Board is requested to weigh in on this idea.
Borough Code Chapter 13.08, Building Numbering, is attached in this packet. Currently, code mandates that any principal building on occupied lots be visibly numbered in accordance with the system established on the plat on file in the Borough offices. Should the Board make recommendation to the Assembly to amend the Code to include metal address markers at driveways along roadsides and/or enforce the Code to help emergency responders easily find their intended destination?
