NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with the order of the Office of the Governor issued March 16, 2020, the City Council will conduct its City Council Workshop scheduled for 06:15 PM on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at the City of Montgomery City Hall, 101 Old Plantersville Road, Montgomery, Texas.

Members of the public may view the meeting live on the City’s website under Agenda/Minutes and then select Live Stream Page (located at the top of the page). The meeting will be recorded and uploaded to the City’s website.

CONSIDERATION AND POSSIBLE ACTION:

1.Review and Discuss the Elements of a Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD), CCPD Adoption Procedure, and Implications of Adopting a CCPD in the City of Montgomery

EXECUTIVE SESSION:

Adjourn into Closed Executive Session as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Government Code of the State of Texas.

The City Council reserves the right to discuss any of the items listed specifically under this heading or for any items listed above in executive closed session as permitted by law including if they meet the qualifications in:

551.072 deliberation on Real property - Proposed Police Department Building
