Recommended Action: Approve the June 25, 2026 Payroll Certification in the amount of $1,017,893.95 and authorize the Mayor to sign the certification on behalf of the entire City Council.
Recommended Action: Approve the May 31, 2026 through June 15, 2026 Accounts Payable Certification of Claims in the amount of $2,597,854.59 and authorize the Mayor to sign the certification on behalf of the entire City Council.
Recommended Action: Approve the City Council Regular Hybrid Meeting Minutes of June 16, 2026.
Recommended Action: Approve Proclamation No. 392 proclaiming July 2026 as Parks and Recreation Month on Mercer Island.
Recommended Action:
1. Adopt Resolution No. 1697 authorizing the application for grant funds in the amount of $500,000 from the Washington State Wildlife and Recreation Program, subject to conditions described in Resolution No. 1697 for the Deane’s Children’s Park Phase I Improvements project.
2. Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents to apply for the grant and accept the grant and conditions of the grant, if awarded.
Recommended Action: Direct the City Council liaison to the Sound Cities Association Public Issues Committee, Councilmember Weiker, to support the SCA Solid Waste Rates Response Letter (Exhibit 1) and take action on behalf of the City Council on any proposed amendments.
Recommended Action: Approve Resolution No. 1698 amending the Fee Schedule to add an Affordable Housing Fee in Lieu rate.
