RECOMMENDATION: Consent to relieve Denali Tree Services of its bid pursuant to Public Contract Code Sections 5101 and 5103; approve the award of the project to the next lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Community Tree Service LLC; authorize the Town Manager to execute a public works contract with Community Tree Service LLC in the amount of $700,344, with authority to approve construction change orders in an amount not to exceed $70,034 (10% contingency); and find the project categorically exempt under Section 15304, Minor Alterations to Land of the California Environmental Quality Act.
RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Town Manager to execute a first amendment to an agreement for Professional Services with Dudek for environmental monitoring and support services related to roadside vegetation management increasing compensation by $24,915 for a total amount not to exceed $404,057.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Accounts Payable Check Registers dated September 11, 2026, and September 18, 2026, and ratify and approve the Payroll Report dated September 18, 2026.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Finance Commission’s Updated 2026 Work Plan.
Adopt a resolution amending the Town of Los Gatos Purchasing Policy (Policy 4-06), repeal Resolution 1997-25 and all previous editions of the Town Purchasing Policy.
VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS (Members of the public are welcome to address the Town Council on any matter that is not listed on the agenda and is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Town Council. The law generally prohibits the Town Council from discussing or taking action on such items. However, the Council may instruct staff accordingly. Town resources may not be used to facilitate audio or visual presentations. To ensure all agenda items are heard, this portion of the agenda is limited to 30 minutes. In the event additional speakers were not heard during the initial Verbal Communications portion of the agenda, an additional Verbal Communications will be opened prior to adjournment. RECOMMENDATION: Discuss whether Council Policy 2-04 and Board, Committee, and Commission Policy 2-19 should be considered for future amendment to address disclosure on the record, before a decision, of personal, professional, and business relationships with persons having an interest in the matter. No policy amendments are before the Council for action at this meeting.
