Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Council of the City of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, will be held at 6:00 PM, on Monday, September 21, 2026, at City Hall, 1214 Lula Lake Road, Lookout Mountain, Georgia 30750. The purpose of the Special Meeting is for the Council to consider amendments to the text of the City of Lookout Mountain's Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 292, as amended, Appendix A to Lookout Mountain City Code) requested by Rock City Enterprises and to make a decision regarding the proposed amendments.
Proceedings in this matter have been and will continue to be conducted in accordance with the City of Lookout Mountain's Zoning Procedures and Standards Ordinance and applicable state law. The September 21 Special Meeting will be a public meeting but not a public hearing. Residents are both welcome and encouraged to attend. As stated in the Zoning Procedures and Standards Ordinance, no further public hearing is required prior to the final zoning decision.
Until further notice, meetings of the City Council will be conducted in person at City Hall, but residents who prefer to attend the meetings by teleconference may do so. Meeting access information is provided below.
