The City of Loganville provides notice that it will host a Political Candidate Forum by the Walton County Chamber of Commerce at City Hall, Council Chambers at October 2, 2023 at 630 pm. The purpose of this Political Candidate Forum is to allow for candidates qualified to run in the November 7, 2023 City Election to present their candidate platforms and be heard from by the local community. While the meeting is NOT being conducted by the City of Loganville and no official action will be taken at this meeting, out of an abundance of caution to comply with the Georgia Open Meetings Act because existing City Council members are expected to be present in excess of a quorum of said body, this meeting is being advertised in accordance with Georgia law, specifically the Georgia Open Meetings Act, OGCA 50-14-1. Et seq.
