Resolution 2024-74: Rule 11 sets standards for maintaining order at Board of County Commissioners meetings. It prohibits disruptive behavior, including speaking without recognition, ignoring time limits or directions, using threatening or profane language, causing disturbances, or engaging in unsafe conduct. Food, drinks, and display materials are not permitted in the meeting room. The presiding officer enforces these rules and may issue warnings, limit participation, recess or adjourn meetings, or order removal of disruptive individuals. The County Manager or designee serves as sergeant-at-arms and may enforce removal, provide notice of trespass laws, and request law enforcement assistance if necessary.
