4.REQUEST TO ADDRESS COMMISSION

This portion of the meeting is reserved for members of the public to address the Commission on items of interest that are not on the Agenda and are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Commission. Speakers shall be limited to three minutes. It is requested that no comments be made during this period on items on the Agenda. Members of the public wishing to address the Commission on items on the Agenda should notify the Chairperson when that Agenda item is called, and the Chairperson will recognize your discussion at that time.   1. A.SUBJECT: Minutes July 10, 2023 

    RECOMMENDATION: Planning Commission approve minutes as presented.

6.PUBLIC HEARINGS

  1. A.SUBJECT: Public hearing regarding Conditional Use Permit 2023-08 to allow for the continued operation of second-hand good sales within an existing home décor store, located at 720 S. Madera Ave., including adopting a finding of a Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines. (MC)

    RECOMMENDATION: Planning Commission conduct a public hearing, deliberate, and by motion adopt a resolution approving CUP 2023-08, to allow for the continued operation of second-hand goods sales within an existing home décor store located at 720 S. Madera Ave., including adopting a finding of a Categorical Exemption pursuant to Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) of the CEQA Guidelines. 

  2. B.SUBJECT: Public hearing regarding Conditional Use Permit 2023-09 to allow for the continued operation of outdoor grilling activities and the existing legal non-conforming alcohol sales for Garcia’s Supermarket located at 15040 W. Whitesbridge Rd., including adopting a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to section 15301 of CEQA Guidelines. (MC)

Madera Ave., including adopting a finding of Categorical Exemption pursuant to section 15301 of CEQA Guidelines.
