    Council will consider and may approve the financial reports for month ending May, 2026.

3.STAFF AND COUNCIL REPORTS

  1. A.Reports by the Town Manager / Clerk, Deputy Clerk, Utilities Clerk, Accounting Clerk, Public Works Director, Building Inspector, Library Director, Municipal Magistrate, Police Chief, Fire Chief and Council Members, Which in the Case of Council Member's Reports will be Limited to a Summary of Current Events and will Involve no Action

    Council will consider and may approve the staff reports.

4.ZONING ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT/PLANNING & ZONING AND DESIGN REVIEW BOARD MINUTES

5.APPROVAL OF MINUTES

  1. A.Consider Approval of the May 12th, 2026, Regular Council Meeting Minutes, and May 28th Special Council Meeting Minutes

    Council will consider and may approve the May 12th, Regular Council Meeting minutes and May 28th Special Council Meeting Minutes. 

6.PETITIONS FROM THE PUBLIC

Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.01(H), public comment is permitted on matters not listed on the agenda, but the subject matter must be within the jurisdiction of the Council. All comments are subject to reasonable time, place and manner restrictions. All petitioners must fill out a request form with their name and subject matter. When recognized by the chair, please step to the podium, state your name and please observe the three (3) minute time limit. No petitioners will be recognized without a request. The Council’s response to public comments is limited to asking staff to review a matter commented upon, asking that a matter be put on a future agenda, or responding to criticism.

7.ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS

  1. A.Consider Resolution No. 687; A Resolution of the Mayor and Council of the Town of Jerome, Yavapai County, Arizona, Amending and Adopting User Fees and Charges for Permits, Licenses, Development Related Services, and Other Town Services

    Council will consider and may adopt Resolution No. 687.

  2. B.Consider Resolution No. 688, A Resolution of the Town of Jerome, Arizona Mayor and Common Council, Designating the Chief Fiscal Officer for Officially Submitting the Fiscal Year 2027 Expenditure Limitation Report to the Arizona Auditor General

    Council will consider and may approve Resolution No. 688.

8.NEW BUSINESS
Discussion/Possible Action

  1. A.Consideration of a Special Event Permit Application for Jerome Historical Society's Ghost Walk  

    Council will consider and may approve the permit for the Special Event.

  2. B.Consider Ratifying / Approving the Town Council's Committee and Town Manager's Actions of Accepting and Entering into A Residential Real Estate Purchase Agreement for the Sale of 655 Holly for $160,000, with Thomas Blosser and Artis Roque

    Council will consider and may approve by motion.

  3. C.Consideration of Council Designating Funds; The Proceeds from the Sale of 655 Holly in the Amount of $153,000 Designated for Future Use of Refuse Truck

    Council may make a motion to designate $153,000 toward the current or future refuse truck.

  4. D.Consider Council Appointments to the PSPRS Local Board of Carl Whiting to Replace Ricardo Hernandez' Expiring Term 11/20/2027; and Reappointing Mark Krmpotich for 11/9/2026 through 11/9/2030; and Procedurally Adding Attorney John Gaylord

    Council may approve the appointments to the PSPRS Local Board in Accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes. 

  5. E.Consideration of an Affiliate Library Agreement Between Yavapai County Free Library District and the Town of Jerome Public Library for the Term of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027

    Council will consider and may approve the agreement. 

  6. F.Consideration and Possible Action to Award the Jerome WWTP Construction Contract Contingent Upon USDA-RD Concurrence with Engineer's Lowest Responsive Bid Recommendation

    Council will consider and may award to the lowest responsive bidder as recommended by the engineer and staff. 

9.TO AND FROM THE COUNCIL
Council may direct staff regarding items to be placed on a future agenda.

10.ADJOURNMENT

The Town Council may recess the public meeting and convene in Executive Session for the purpose of discussion or consultation for legal advice with the Town Attorney, who may participate telephonically, regarding any item listed on this agenda pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3). The Chair reserves the right, with the consent of Council, to take items on the agenda out of order.
