Special Meeting - E-Session Monday, June 22, 2026 05:00 PM Council Chambers, Jerome Town Hall

1.CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Mayor/Chairperson to call meeting to order
Town Clerk to call and record the roll.

2.EXECUTIVE SESSION: On a Public Majority Vote of Council Members Constituting a Quorum, the Town Council May Enter into an Executive Session pursuant to  ARS § 38-431.03(A)(1), (A)(3), and (A)(4) for discussion,  consideration, legal advice, and consultation with the town’s attorney regarding legal advice, contracts, and the employment, assignment, appointment, promotion, demotion, dismissal, salaries, disciplining or resignation of a public officer, appointee or employee of any public body, except that, with the exception of salary discussions, an officer, appointee or employee may demand that the discussion or consideration occur at a public meeting. The public body shall provide the officer, appointee or employee with written notice of the executive session as is appropriate but not less than twenty-four hours for the officer, appointee or employee to determine whether the discussion or consideration should occur at a public meeting. Upon such motion, the Council may discuss the following employment and contract matters in executive session: 

Manager Contract

Manager Lease at 621 Main

Police Chief Lease at 621 Main 

Fire Chief Recruitment and Next Steps  

1. A.Return to Open Session

   Consideration of any action items from E-Session.  Council will make a separate motion for any item to be acted upon as a result of the E-Session.  

3.ADJOURNMENT

The Town Council may recess the public meeting and convene in Executive Session for the purpose of discussion or consultation for legal advice with the Town Attorney, who may participate telephonically, regarding any item listed on this agenda pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3). The Chair reserves the right, with the consent of Council, to take items on the agenda out of order.
