1. a.Adjustment and Appeals Board - The members are appointed for a three-year term by the City Council.  There is a vacancy on the Board due to the recent passing of a board member.  The term will expire in February of 2027.

2. b.Parks and Recreation Committee - The members are appointed for a two-year term by the City Council.  There are two vacant positions to be filled.

1. a.The August HZC/Regional Planning Commission/BZA meeting will be on Monday, August 24, 2026.

2. b.The September Council Meeting will be on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

3. c.The September Work Session will be on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

8.Announcements

1. a.City Administrative Offices will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

2. b.MCF Downtown Business and Property Owner's Meeting will be at the MadOx House on Thursday, September 15th at 6:30pm.

3. c.The next Movie Night at Mossy Creek Station will be on Friday, September 18th, at 8pm.

4. d.The Corn & Bacon Festival at Mossy Creek will be held on Saturday, October 3rd from 11am to 4pm.
