7.Calendar/Upcoming Events

  1. a.The July HZC/Regional Planning Commission/BZA meeting will be on Monday, July 27, 2026.

  2. b.The August Council Meeting will be on Monday, August 3, 2026.

  3. c.The June Work Session will be on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

  4. d.The August HZC/Regional Planning Commission/BZA meeting will be on Monday, August 24, 2026.

8.Announcements

  1. a.The Selection Committee for the Downtown Improvement Grant will meet at 5:30pm on Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

  2. b.National Night Out sponsored by JCPD and JCFD will be from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

  3. c.The JCPD will be holding a Citizen's Police Academy beginning Thursday, August 6th.  Citizens are encouraged to apply.

  4. d.Jefferson City Parks and Recreation Dept. has been awarded a Healthy Active Rural Tennessee Grant from the Tennessee Dept. of Health.
