6.Appointments

  1. a.Parks and Recreation Committee - The members are appointed for a two-year term by the City Council.  There is one vacant position.  An application has been received by Ms. Amber Moore.

  2. b.Housing Authority - Due to a resignation, there is a vacancy on the board whose term will expire in March of 2027.  The board members are appointed by the Mayor.

  3. c.Jefferson County Equalization Board - The member is appointed to the County Board for a two-year term by the City Council.  The current member whose terms will expire in May of 2026 is Bobby Rogers.  Mr. Rogers is willing to be reappointed.

  1. a.The March HZC/Regional Planning Commission/BZA meeting will be on Monday, March 23, 2026.

  2. b.A Special Council Meeting will be on Monday, March 30, 2026.
