1.Approval of Minutes

1. A.Approval of the minutes from the Executive Council and Board of Canvass meeting held on October 25, 2021.

2.Iowa Code §7D.10

1. A.Attorney General’s office request Payment for Expenses under Iowa Code §7D.10 in the amount of $20,849.74.

3.Emergency Allocations

1. A.Iowa Communications Network is requesting a supplemental emergency allocation in the amount of $5,005.10. This brings the total allocation to $18,121.88. On September 9, 2020, ICN sustained cable damage due to excessive erosion along Highway 25 in Adair County. Request is to cover repair costs. 

   The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed this request and recommends allocation and payment. This represents full and final payment and this allocation will be closed.

2. B.Department of Public Safety is requesting a supplemental emergency allocation of $2,283.95. This brings the total allocation to $8,785.40. On September 23, 2020, State Patrol Vehicle #418 was damaged by a deer. Request is to cover repair costs.
   
   The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed this request and recommends allocation and payment. This represents full and final payment and this allocation will be closed.

3. C.Department of Administrative Services is requesting a supplemental emergency allocation of $615.96. This brings the total allocation to $5,049.75. On August 10, 2020, Vehicles #1447 and #2443 were damaged due to a derecho. Request is to cover repair costs.

   The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed this request and recommends allocation and payment. This represents full and final payment and this allocation will be closed.

4.Payment of Cost Items

1. A.Iowa Communications Network.....................................$21,353.71

   On September 8, 2020, ICN sustained cable damage due to excessive erosion along Highway 25 in Guthrie County. Request is to cover repair costs. 

   The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed this request and recommends payment.  This represents full and final payment, $7,260.53 will be reverted and this allocation closed.

2. B.Iowa Communications Network..........................................$16,015.04

   On April 7, 2021, ICN sustained cable damage due to exposure along Interstate 80 in Madison County. Request is to cover repair costs.

   The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed this request and recommends payment.  This represents full and final payment, $6,226.44 will be reverted and this allocation closed.

3. C.Iowa Communications Network................................$18,804.03

   On April 22, 2021, ICN sustained cable damage due to exposure in the south right-of-way of Interstate 80 in Cass County. Request is to cover repair costs.

   The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed this request and recommends payment.  This represents full and final payment, $2,744.09 will be reverted and this allocation closed.

4. D.Iowa Communications Network................................$15,426.00

   On April 23, 2021, ICN sustained cable damage due to exposure in the east right-of-way oh Highway 61 in Clinton County. Request is to repair costs. 

   The State Auditor’s Office has reviewed this request and recommends payment.  This represents full and final payment, $3,099.23 will be reverted and this allocation closed.
