Pursuant to Section 551 of the Texas Government Code, notice is hereby given of a  Meeting of the Hutchins City Council to be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, with Work Session beginning at 5:30 pm and Regular Meeting at 6:30 p.m. at Hutchins City Hall Council Chambers, 321 N. Main Street, Hutchins, Texas, at which time the following items will be discussed and considered.

D.CITIZEN COMMENTS - This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the City Council on any matter that is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the City Council should complete a Citizen Comments Form and submit it to the City Secretary prior to the start of the City Council meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit for each citizen to speak. However, in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the City Council cannot discuss issues raised or make any decision at this time.

F.REGULAR AGENDA - As authorized by Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, the City Council reserves the right to convene in Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item listed herein.

  1. 3.Discussion and consider Resolution R2024-08-1209 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUTCHINS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO NEGOTIATE  A CHANGE ORDER AND EXECUTE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE H-GAC MASTER SERVICE AGREEMENT (RA05-21) BETWEEN THE CITY OF HUTCHINS AND MOTOROLA SOLUTIONS, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED NINE HUNDRED FIFTY NINE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED FORTY TWO DOLLARS AND THIRTY THREE CENTS,  ($959,342.33), TO UPGRADE THE CITY’S RADIO COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM USED BY THE CITY’S POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS TO THE MOTOROLA COMMAND CENTRAL AXIS DISPATCH SITE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.  Presented by: Steve Perry Police Chief

  3. 5.Discuss and consider Resolution R2024-08-1205, A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE CITIES OF CEDAR HILL, GLENN HEIGHTS, HUTCHINS, LANCASTER, AND WILMER, TEXAS (THE "CITIES") ESTABLISHING A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE CITIES IN SUPPORT OF IDENTIFYING A MASTER PLAN LOCATION WITHIN DISTRICT 109 FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCREASING QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH HOLISTIC, GREEN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, FOLLOWING BLUE ZONE GUIDELINES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 

G.EXECUTIVE SESSION
