Notice has been transmitted to the Asbury Park Press, Two River Times, and by posting at The Borough of Highlands Municipal Building and website and filing with the Municipal Clerk all on December 3, 2024. This agenda is complete to the extent known; no formal action will be taken at this Meeting.Tax Assessor may limit repetitive comments and may limit the time or number of questions or comments from any one citizen to ensure an orderly meeting and allow adequate time for members of the public to be heard.
This Special Meeting of the Borough of Highlands is called to give residents and individuals the opportunity to learn more about property valuations in Highlands. We will not be able to discuss individual assessments at this meeting but our Assessor will be reviewing and discussing the valuation process, common misconceptions, and how to proceed from this point. Please join our assessor this Wednesday for valuable time sensitive information, as individual meetings for each resident are very difficult to accommodate due to the assessing timeline.
