13.Closed Session

  1. a.The Board may convene in Closed Session pursuant to Wis. Stat. sec. 19.85(1)(g) for the purpose of conferring with legal counsel for the Village who will be rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved; specifically the Village Board will discuss a possible lawsuit stemming from a 2019 contract to which the Village is a party.

  2. b.The Board may convene in Closed Session pursuant to Wis. Stat. s. 19.85(1)(c), for consideration of the employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility; specifically, if the Village Board goes into Closed Session, the Village Board will discuss the performance evaluation of the Village Manager.
