The purpose of this item is to provide Council and the community with information on the process for the preparation of the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan. This is a 5-year planning document required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) related to the funding received through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) Program.
The purpose of this work session item is to provide Council additional details about the implementation and planned resources supporting the proposed Building Performance Standards (BPS) policy.
This item builds on the materials and discussion originally presented during the April 23, 2024 Council Work Session.
The purpose of this item is to discuss and confirm an engagement plan for the creation of a use plan for the Hughes property. Staff is seeking feedback on guiding principles to set expectations throughout the process and on the feasibility of utilizing a “Civic Assembly” process.
