3.WORKSHOP:

1. A.Housing Element Update - An update of the Housing Element process and timeline presented by Denise Duffy, DD&A. The Planning Commission and City Council will receive a presentation on the City's Housing Element Update to address requirements of State Housing Element law and the Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA). The presentation will outline past workshops and focus on policies and programs to meet state requirements.

2.PUBLIC COMMENTS: General Public Comment must deal with matters subject to the jurisdiction of the City and the Council that are not on the Agenda. Anyone wishing to address the City Council on matters not appearing on the Agenda may do so now. The public may comment on any other matter listed on the Agenda at the time the matter is being considered. There will be a time limit of not more than three minutes for each speaker. No action will be taken on matters brought up under this item and all comments will be referred to staff.

1. A.Housing Element 5th Cycle Update and Direction by Council
   Consideration of Revised Programs 5th Cycle Housing Element and Direction to Staff

4.NEW BUSINESS:

1. A.Introduction and first reading of Ordinance #312 amending portions of TITLE 17 of the Del Rey Oaks Municipal Code regarding the definition of "Family", as well as establishing an Emergency Shelter overlay to allow emergency shelters by right in accordance with State Housing Laws.
