  1. a.Update Part-time wage scale effective January 1, 2024

  2. b.Permission to increase pay for Bonny Anfinson, Program Coordinator from $24.56 to $27.03 which includes 6% COLA and an additional $1.00 per hour effective January 1, 2024.  

  3. c.Resolution 2024-01 to Establish Wages for 2024

  4. d.Resolution 2024-02 Extending Workers Compensation to Specific Individuals 

  5. e.Permission to extend up to 30 hours of vacation time for Jessicca McKeown until February 15, 2024.   

  6. f.Grant permission for Fire Department to apply for SD Wildland Fire grant in the amount of $7,000.00 to apply towards purchase of skid for brush truck.

Rogers Map Except a Portion of Land Along the Southerly Side of Lot 24, Block 15 Being 8 Inches in Width Fronting on Main and Back of Even Width 100’ as Set Forth in Deed and Recorded in Book 162 Page 243.

  9. i.Act as Board of Adjustment to approve/deny Findings of Fact and Conclusion - Conditional Use Permit - Bed and Breakfast Establishment - 388 & 390 Main Street - Nugget Saloon LLC (Wayne Morris) legally described as Lot Twelve (12) and the South Half of Lot Thirteen (13), Both Lots in Block Three (3) in the Fountain City Addition to the City of Deadwood, Together with all Improvements Thereon and Appurtenances Thereunto Belonging, Subject to Covenants, Restrictions and Reservations of Record.

  1. a.Hold public hearing for Convention Center (on-sale) Liquor (CL-15404), Package (off-sale) Liquor (PL-4522), Retail (on-off sale) Malt Beverage & SD Farm Wine (RB-2609) and Retail (on-off sale) Wine and Cider (RW-6401) License transfers from Earnest Hospitality LLC to Fools Gold Gaming, LLC dba Deadwood Gulch Resort. 

  2. b.Set public hearing on January 16, 2024 for funding from the Board of Water and Natural Resources for the Highway 85 Water Main Extension and Booster Pump Project. 

  3. c.Set public hearing on January 16, 2024 for the lease of 600 square feet of city property near the PRV building at the Deadwood Event Complex to CommNet Cellular Inc. for location of a small cell tower.

  4. d.Set public hearing on January 16, 2024 for Forks Corks Kegs Event: open container in zones 1 and 2 on Friday, April 12 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 

  5. e.Set public hearing on January 16, 2024 for Hops and Hogs Event: open container in zones 1 and 2 Friday, May 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 18, 2024 from noon to 10:00 p.m.

  1. a.Second Reading of Ordinance  #1389 Amending Chapter 3.20 Occupancy Tax, Business Improvement District 7.

  2. b.Second Reading of Ordinance  #1391 Amending Chapter 3.20 Occupancy Tax, Business Improvement District 9.

  3. c.Permission to accept Construction Change Order #1 in the amount of $3,910.28 for Broadway Alley Retaining Wall for added concrete, framing, and metal panels for a total project cost of $502,151.28.

  4. d.Permission for the Fire Dept. to purchase seven (7) sets of personal protection equipment from Alex Air in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00. (To be paid from Fire Dept. Equipment line item and offset with grant funding.)
