  1. a.Set public hearing on September 8 for Fair in the Square: street closure on Deadwood Street from Main Street to Pioneer Way from 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11 to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026. 

4.New Business

  1. a.Permission to allow Mayor to sign contract with Rangel Construction Company for repairs/restoration of front facade and roof edge to Deadwood Recreation Center in the amount not to exceed $95,000.00. (To be paid by Historic Preservation Capital Assets line item.)  

  2. b.Permission to authorize additional scope of work through CO#2 to the Crescent Street Reconstruction Project per unit price of the contract with Hayward Construction in an amount not to exceed $211,497.50 with costs shared amongst South Dakota Department of Transportation, Lead Deadwood Sanitary District, Deadwood Days of 76, Inc. and City of Deadwood per the associated Financial Agreement document.

  3. c.Permission for Mayor to sign financial agreement with South Dakota Department of Transportation, Lead Deadwood Sanitary District, Deadwood Days of 76, Inc. and City of Deadwood for additional work on the Crescent Street Reconstruction Project.

  4. d.Permission for the Mayor to sign Maintenance and Use Agreement with Deadwood Days of '76, Inc. for use of property as snow dump area.

  5. e.Permission to accept and sign proposal from Chamberlin Architects for design and administrate the exterior remodel of the Streets and Parks Buildings at a cost not to exceed $22,000.00. (To be paid by Streets Professional Services line item.)
