• 5.1st Reading: REZN 08-26-1678: An ordinance amending the text of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) for Columbus, Georgia to add Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU’s) to the category of Dwellings, Accessory and to provide applicable ADU requirements. • 6.1st Reading: An Ordinance amending Articles III and V of Chapter 8 of the Columbus Code to adopt building code standard pertinent to “Tiny Houses” and to update certain references to the State of Georgia and International Property Maintenance Code; and for other purposes.  (Councilor Tucker)

  Approval is requested to authorize payment to employees for unused sick leave in accordance with 16B-15-6 (2) of the Columbus Code of Ordinances.

• 2.SMART FY2026 Support for Adam Walsh Act Implementation Grant Program

  Approval is requested for submission and acceptance, if awarded of a grant from the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) for funds that support jurisdictions to develop or maintain and enhance programs that implement Title I of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006, specifically Subtitle A, the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA), in the amount of $400,000 or as otherwise awarded, with no local match required, and amend the Multi-governmental Fund budget by the amount of the award.
