CITY MANAGER'S AGENDA

• 1.2022 Legislative Agenda

  Approval is requested of the resolution for the 2022 Legislative Session of the Georgia General Assembly, which the Mayor and Council deem appropriate.

• 2.Waiver of Demolition Lien at 2614 7^th Street for Pleasant Grove Baptist Church

  Approval is requested to waive the demolition lien plus penalty and interest for 2614 7^th Street for Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  The balance due on the lien is $13,290.15.

• 3.Encroachment Agreement - Whitesville Road and Maplebrook Drive

  Approval is requested authorizing the execution of an Encroachment Agreement for the construction of a private sanitary sewer within the right of way of Whitesville Road and Maplebrook Drive.

• 4.The Recycling Partnership Grant Application

  Approval is requested to submit the grant application to The Recycling Partnership for reimbursement of up to $6.00 per recycling cart, totaling $18,000 for the 3,000 carts purchased to expand the CCG recycling program.

• 5.Georgia Department of Natural Resources Grant, Recreational Trails Program

  Approval is requested to submit an application for a Georgia Department of Natural Resources Grant and if approved, accept funds from the Recreational Trails Program (RTP) for the Dragonfly Trails and to amend the Multi-Governmental Fund by the amount of the grant awarded.  The grant amount requested is $200,000. The City is not required to provide matching funds to participate in this grant. The Friends of the Dragonfly Trail Network will provide the match. The purpose of the grant program is to support recreational trails and trail-related facilities for both nonmotorized and motorized recreational trail uses.

ADD-ON RESOLUTION:

• Uptown Tax Allocation District Fund Grant – Modification to the Riverfront Place Mixed-Use Development Initial Request (Add-On)

  Approval is requested for a modification to the Uptown Tax Allocation District (TAD) grant to W.C. Bradley Real Estate, to support the construction of a shared underground parking facility and other certain public infrastructure improvements for the Riverfront Place development.

  Scope of RFP

  The City of Columbus is seeking proposals from qualified Consultant/Firms to conduct a classification and compensation study.  The Consultant/Firm will work with Human Resources and City leadership to review our classification and compensation structure and recommend comparable public/private survey markets.  Consultant/Firms shall consider the compensation and benefits package received by employees with the City as it relates to both the external and internal markets.

  Provide all labor, equipment, and materials to replace designated roofs and repair designated roofs, in full compliance with the project manual, at Gallops Senior Center and other structures in Linwood Tillis Park.

  Provide all labor, equipment, and materials to remove the existing roof at the Carver Park Gym and replace with a ketone ethylene ester (KEE) roof system, in full compliance with the project manual.
