CITY MANAGER'S AGENDA
Approval is requested to enter into a five-year Agreement with the Columbus Indoor Football Team, LLC d/b/a Columbus Lions.
Approval is requested for the 2023 Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) and authorization is requested for the Transportation Director to approve, submit, and implement this Safety Plan on behalf of the City and in compliance with federal requirements.
Approval is requested to enter into a lease agreement with CVEM to lease the building at 5001 12th Ave Columbus, Georgia 31904. The City will lease at the rate of $100.00 per annum, being a sum of $500.00 for the initial lease and $500.00 for each subsequent renewal.
Approval is requested to submit an application, and if approved, accept $2,000,000 or as otherwise awarded from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) for the operation of the PORCH Project from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2027 and to amend the Multi-governmental Fund by $2,000,000 or as otherwise awarded. There is NO MATCH requirement for this program.
Approval is requested to submit a grant application and if awarded, accept funds from the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program for the installation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in the amount up to $236,000, or as otherwise awarded, and amend the Transportation Fund by the amount of the grant award.
