A resolution authorizing the appointment of Ms. Kimberly Mitchell as Director of the Community Reinvestment Department.
A Resolution authorizing the appointment of Mr. Edward Allen Minton as Director of the Facilities Maintenance Department.
A resolution authorizing the appointment of Mr. Everett Fleming as Director of METRA Transit System.
Approval is requested to grant an easement to Georgia Power Company onto the property located at 7533 River Road, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia 31904 for an amount of $3,200 to upgrade the electric distribution facility to improve service reliability for the area.
Approval is requested to sell city-owned property to adjacent landowner, Bibb City Enterprises, LLC, in accordance with section 7-501 paragraph 5 of the Columbus Charter, and to authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all contracts, agreements, and understandings related to the conveyance of City property.
Approval is requested for a Memorandum of Understanding between Columbus Consolidated Government and Cascade Hills Church for the landscaping, beautification, and ongoing maintenance of a section of Highway 80/22 from M.P. 2.2 to M.P. 2.3. This project will be authorized through the Adopt-a-Spot Program of the Columbus, Georgia Department of Public Works. Cascade Hills Church will be fully responsible for all financial requirements and ongoing maintenance of the project.
Approval is requested to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with Dragonfly Trails, Inc. and approve the final design of the mural to be located at the on the Riverwalk by the Waveshaper Island around 12th Street
Approval is requested for the acceptance of Longhorn Way, that portion of Kadie Way and that portion of Calf Creek Lane, located in Phase Four, Heiferhorn Farms.
Approval is requested for the acceptance of Silver Lace Drive, Silver Lace Court, and that portion of Mountain Ivy Drive located in Section Two, Phase Three, North Ivy Park.
Approval is requested for the acceptance of Seafoam Drive, that portion of High Hat Drive and that portion of Dancing Blaze Drive located in Old Town, a Mixed Community.
Approval is requested of the resolutions for the 2027 Legislative Session of the Georgia General Assembly, which the Mayor and Council deem appropriate.
Approval is requested to authorize the Department of Transportation/METRA to apply to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for a capital, planning, and operating grant in the amount of $170,027.00, or as otherwise awarded. Approval is also requested to authorize the City to accept the grant, if awarded, and execute any contracts with the Federal Transit Administration and/or the Georgia Department of Transportation relating to the grant.
Approval is requested to apply for and accept a grant in the amount of $17,898.33 or as otherwise awarded, from the Georgia Trauma Commission – Georgia Trauma Care Network Commission, with no local match required and amend the Multi-Government Fund by the award amount. The grant funds will be used to purchase equipment that will be used to better equip Columbus Fire and EMS in the treatment of trauma patients.

Scope of Bid
This project consists of constructing a new trail beginning near Cascade Road in Columbus, Georgia. The trail will run south along River Road (SR 219) and continue west to the existing riverwalk at Lake Oliver Road. The project length is approximately 5,026 lf and includes a 10' wide concrete trail, pedestrian bridge, landscape improvements, stormwater improvements, and trail amenities. Additional work associated with the project includes minor demolition and clearing, erosion control, grading, and signage. Portions of the project are located on state right-of-way. A GDOT encroachment permit has been obtained by the City of Columbus. A dbe goal of 10% has been established for this project.
Scope of Bid
Provide all labor, equipment, and materials to resurface the tennis courts at Lakebottom Park and Double Churches Park.
Scope of RFB
Provide various electrical fixtures, parts and supplies to Columbus Consolidated Government on an “as needed” basis. The contract period will be for two (2) years with the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods.

Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and related implementation services. The proposed system shall modernize financial, human resource, and administrative operations through a secure, scalable, and integrated solution.
