EXECUTIVE SESSION
Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Annotated, Chapter 551, Subchapter D, Texas Open Meetings Act (the "Act"), City Commission will recess into Executive Session (closed meeting) to discuss the following:
Consultation with Attorney
§551.071(2): Consultation with Attorney on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the City under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas Clearly conflicts with the Open Meetings Act:
Personnel Matters
§551.074: Deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of a public officer or employee; or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee:
RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION
In accordance with Texas Government Code, Section 551, the City Commission will reconvene into Open Session and consider action, if any, on matters discussed in Executive Session.
RECEIVE REQUESTS FROM COMMISSION MEMBERS/STAFF FOR ITEMS TO BE PLACED ON NEXT MEETING AGENDA
Discussion under this section must be limited to whether or not the Commission wishes to include a potential item on a future agenda.

NOTE: As authorized by Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code (Consultation with City Attorney), this meeting may be convened into closed Executive Session for the purpose of seeking confidential legal advice from the City Attorney on any agenda item herein.
PUBLIC TESTIMONY NOTICE: Persons wishing to address the City Commission during a “Public Hearing” or “Open Forum” shall complete and present a Public Testimony Participation Form to the City Secretary prior to the beginning of the scheduled City Commission meeting. Each speaker will be allowed three (3) minutes to address the City Commission. No discussion or action may be taken by the City Commission on a matter unless the matter has been placed on a properly posted agenda in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
POSTING OF AGENDA PACKET: The posting of the agenda packet on the City's website is for transparency and convenience of the public. All documents, such as ordinances and resolutions, are included in the packet in draft form and presented to the City Commission for use in their deliberations at the Commission meeting. It is not the intent of the City Manager or City Commission to consider the draft documents as adopted or not subject to revision. All draft documents discussed at duly called City Commission meetings will be revised pursuant to action taken at the meeting, and the final form of such adopted documents is subject to review by the public under the Public Information Act.
