Application opens Aug 1 and submission deadline is Sept 15. Grant is to fund trees planted in public spaces. Applications must include the following:
1. Brief Narrative of landscaping project
2. Landscaping plan and/or photos of intended project area

This is a Federal grant (Federal strings apply) to this urban reforestation grant. Deadline is Aug 30. This requires a local share of 20%, therefore the proposed budget would define an objective, price out that project, and show that at least 20% of the costs are supported by the Town. This grant has a 12 month implementation and requires quarterly reporting against program goals. Goals must be vetted against the Justice40 initiative (for its impact on low income communities) and must be on suitable land (see link in the PDF).
