• A.Farmers’ Market – adding SNAP and EBT Benefits

  Staff recommends that the Bethel Park Farmers’ Market proceeds with the application and acceptance of SNAP benefits at the Market, as well as participating in the match program.

• B.Network Penetration Testing

  Staff recommends the approval of the network penetration test from All-Lines for $13,125.00.

• C.Bethel Park Baseball Job Box Challenge Grant

  Staff recommends adding this item to the June 12, 2023, agenda.

• D.Bethel Park Baseball L Screen Challenge Grant

  Staff recommends adding this item to the June 12, 2023, agenda.

• E.Bethel Park Girls Softball Association Job Box Challenge Grant

  Staff recommends adding this item to the June 12, 2023, agenda.

  Staff does not recommend adding this item to the June 12, 2023, agenda. Staff recommends for it to stay in the operations budget to offset the cost of the challenge grants.

  Staff has conducted a review and researched parental leave, as requested by Council for discussion.

• A.Cohen Markets & Bethel Park Elementary School & McMurray Road Rezoning from C-1 to R3 

  • The McMurray Road rezoning is for discussion only. Council is to confirm the public hearing date which is targeted for July 10, 2023.
  • If Council finds the Cohen Markets Plan acceptable, directing staff to prepare a Resolution approving the plan for the June 12^th Council meeting would be appropriate.
  • If Council finds the Bethel Park Elementary School Plan acceptable, directing staff to prepare a Resolution approving the plan for the June 12^th Council meeting would be appropriate. The Resolution will reflect whatever action Council decides to take on the applicant’s requested waivers for certain sidewalk installation.

• A.May 2023 Capital Projects

  Pickleball – Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $1,562,811.45 from Caliber Contracting Services, Inc. for the Base Bid plus both Alternates 1& 2. 

  First Street Wall- Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $380,446.00 from Quigley Development.

  Clark Bridge – Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $90,104.00 from Lone Pine Construction.  

  Highland Bridge – Staff recommends rejecting the bids and making this a capital project for 2024 with a budget of $500k.
