• A.Counters/Cabinets Office Splash Park Bath House

  Staff would like to update Council and Mayor Allen regarding the purchase of counters and under-counter locking cabinets that will be installed in the office located in the bath house at the Splash Park. The funds for this purchase is in part of the original plan, but not the responsibility of the General Contractor. I have secured three (3) quotes, and the lowest came from HOFF ENTERPRISES at the cost of $8,720.00.

• B.Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Station-Clifton Station 

  Staff recommends moving forward with the renovations of Clifton Station in the amount of $556,699.00 to FMS Construction.  

  Monies will come from budget number 40 409 540.

• C.Pickleball Court Paint - SealMaster

  Staff is recommending purchasing pickleball paint and sealer at the cost of $12,475.00 from SealMaster Manufacturing for the 10 new pickleball courts located at Millenium Park.

  Monies will come from 06 451 982.

• D.Sod Purchase and Install / Vicnor Farms Incorporated

  Staff is seeking approval for the purchase of sod and the installation of sod in the Splash Park from Vicnor Farms Incorporated at the cost of $14,800.00.  

  Monies will come from 06 451 981.

• E.Millenium Park Field Lighting Project

  Staff recommends that Council award the Millenium Park Field Lighting project to Allegheny City Electric in the amount of $692,000.00 at the April 8, 2024 Council Meeting.

• F.2024 Projects for Sanitary, Storm and Road Programs

  SANITARY RECOMMENDATION:

  Manhole Rehab – Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $133,850.00 from State Pipe Services, Inc.

  Sanitary Sewer Lining – Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $364,400.00 from Jet Jack, Inc.

  Sanitary Sewer Digs – Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $237,265.00 from Roto-Rooter Services Company.

  Sanitary Sewer CCTV – Staff recommend acceptance of the low bid of $299,850.00 from Robinson Pipe Cleaning, Co.

  Sewer Smoke Testing – Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $81,150.00 from Insight Pipe Contracting.

  STORM RECOMMENDATION:

  Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $697,265.00 from Roto-Rooter Services for the 2024 Storm Sewer Repair Project.

  Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $104,800.00 from Jet Jack Inc. for the 2024 Storm Sewer CCTV & Cleaning Project.

  ROAD RECOMMENDATION:

  Rejuvenator - Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $143,370.00 from Pavement Technology, Inc.

  Landscaping - Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $45,350.00 from Telegraphis Landscape LLC.

  Road Paving - Staff recommends acceptance of the low bid of $1,728,655.90 from Mele & Mele & Sons, Inc. for the combined Base Bid and Alternates 2 & 3.
