1.Call to order.

This time is set aside for any person who wishes to address the City Council. Presentations should be limited to no more than 3 minutes. Individuals not able to attend due to space limitations may email the City Secretary at least two (2) hours prior to the meeting and provide your comments to be read.

4.Workshop.

  1. A.Discuss the fiscal year 2021-2022 budget. 

5.Consent Agenda.

  1. A.Approval of minutes from the May 6, 2021 Regular Meeting. 

  2. B.Approval of minutes from the May 20, 2021 Regular Meeting. 

  3. C.Accept resignation of Suzanne Schauman from the Bandera Economic Development Corporation. 

6.Discussion and possible action on the following items:

  1. A.Update from Ben Rosenberg on the Texas Water Development Board funding for Flood Infrastructure Fund project. 

  2. B.Discussion and possible action on an Ordinance amending Section 1.03.061, Place and time, of the Bandera Code of Ordinance to change the day, time, and/or location of the regular meetings of City Council. 

7.Closed Session.
The City Council will convene in closed session pursuant to Government Code Section 551.074, personnel matter, to deliberate the resignation, and appointment and or employment of a public officer or employee; to wit: City Administrator Terry Byrd and pursuant to Government Code Section 551.071, consultation with attorney, if necessary, to seek advice of the city attorney on any legal issues associated with any matter posted on this agenda. 

8.Action following Closed Session.
The City Council will convene following closed session to consider any action recommended to be taken during the closed session.

  1. A.Discussion and possible action to accept the resignation of City Administrator Terry Byrd.

  2. B.Discussion and possible action to confirm the Mayor's appointment of a person to fill the office of administrator, in accordance with Texas Local Government Code Section 22.010(e) and Bandera City Code Section 1.04.033.

  3. C.Discussion and possible action, if needed, to appoint an interim city administrator, to authorize the Mayor to act in the capacity of the city administrator during the vacancy, or to post the vacancy and/or retain services to conduct a search for qualified candidates.
