City Council Regular Meeting Tuesday, January 27, 2026 06:30 PM Bandera City Hall, 511 Main Street, Bandera, Texas

1.Call to order.

2.Invocation and Pledge.

3.Visitors to be heard (shall not exceed 30 minutes total).

Citizens wishing to be heard may do so on all matters except personnel matters, matters listed on the agenda as a public hearing, and matters under litigation. Each person addressing the council must provide his/her legal name and current address for city records and meeting minute preparation. Each person will only be allowed to speak on matters on the agenda during citizen's forum/public comment. No rebuttals will be permitted. Each person addressing the governing body shall not exceed three (3) minutes. Section 551.042, Government Code, V.T.C.A. (i.e. Texas Open Meetings Act) permits a member of the public or a member of the governmental body to raise a subject that has not been included in the notice for the meeting, but any discussion of the subject must be limited to a proposal to place the subject on the agenda for a future meeting.  All remarks shall be addressed to the council as a body, and not to any individual member thereof. Any person making personal, impertinent, or slanderous remarks while addressing the council may be requested to leave the meeting.

6.Discussion and possible action on the following items:

  1. A.Take any appropriate action for a reimbursement to TJ's @ The Old Forge for plumbing repairs and loss of daily sales.  - Jill Dickerson

  2. B.Request from BBA for permission to use section A of the City Park June 6,7, and 8th for a vendor market and taste of Bandera event. -Jill Dickerson

  3. C.Cowboy Capital Trail Riders Association is requesting permission to camp one night on February 9, 2026 in the horse parking area located at 210 Cypress on the trail ride to the San Antonio Livestock show. - Jill Dickerson

  4. D.Discussion and possible action regarding the status of the Flood Warning System. - McCabe

  5. E.Discussion and possible action regarding Bandera City Hall lease and how the City should proceed. -McCabe.

  6. F.Amendment to 1.03.0094 Citizens' forum/ public comment ordinance. -Tammy Ott Morrow

  7. G.Discuss and possible action regarding the process for hiring a City Administrator to include where to advertise, salary range, and qualifications. - Palmer

  8. H.Discussion and possible action on setting a date and time for a Budget Workshop. Morrow/McCabe

  9. I.Discussion and possible action regarding sale of multiple tracts of real property to the City of Bandera to include Councils' direction in regard to said property. -McCabe

The City Council will meet in closed session pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074, personnel, to

  2. B.The City Council will meet in closed session pursuant to Texas Government Code Section §551.072 to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property.
