  1. A.Discussion on Fiscal Year 2022-2023 budget.

Items on consent agenda are considered being of a routine nature by The Economic Development Corporation and may require only limited discussion. Any Board Member may request that items be removed from the consent agenda and be considered separately for the purpose of discussion and voting.

  1. A.Invoices due. 

  2. B.BEDC financials as of July 31, 2022.

  3. C.Approval of minutes from the July 28, 2022 meeting.

7.Discussion and possible action on the following items:

  1. A.Presentation of 2020-2021 audit by Neffendorf and Blocker. 

  2. B.Review and accept 2020-2021 Audit.

  3. C.Accept the resignation of Kay Reese

  4. D.Interviewing applicants for an open seat on the board and make a recommendation to City Council. 

  5. E.Approving funds in the amount of $1,175.00 to erect the historical marker for the Tin Man water tower.

  6. F.Agreement between the City and the BEDC for the City Administrator to also work as the BEDC Executive Director.

  7. G.Awarding bid for striping the BEDC parking lot.

  8. H.Awarding bid for tree trimming at the BEDC parking lot.

  9. I.Becoming a member of the Association of Rural Communities in Texas.

  10. J.Applying for a Texas Parks and Wildlife grant for the trails of the park land on Hackberry.

  11. K.Staying up to date on grants offered by Alamo Area Council of Governments for federal infrastructure. 

  12. L.Moving the September meeting date from the 22nd to the 15th of the month.
