ENGINEERING SERVICES

• 1.Discuss and gather information regarding a once-a-month Recycling Pickup Event at Warren Road Community Center and other centers located in other areas. (Requested by Commissioner Tina Slendak)

• 2.Approve supplement funding in amount not to exceed $121,014 to M. Mitchell Group contract to cover cost of non-reimbursable concrete flatwork repairs adjacent to the right of way that was damaged by Hurricane Helene. AE/ Bid 25-905 (26ENG171)

• 3.Approve the award of the Construction Contract to Morgan Corporation in the amount of $4,767,795 for the Deans Bridge Road Solid Waste Facility Phase 3, Stage 2, South Cell 2 – Phase 1 Construction Project. The award is contingent upon receipt of all required signed contract and associated required documents. Also authorize use of $5.5million from “Solid waste restricted reserve funds” for this project construction and Construction Quality Assurance, and accordingly approve amending Environmental Services FY2026 Budget to add this amount to Solid Waste Operations Funds.   AE/ RFP 26-272

• 4.Approve funding in the amount of $41,000.00 for the continued provision of Rhythm Engineering Technical Support and Software Services through a sole-source procurement for Richmond County’s Traffic ITS Operations, including the operation and maintenance of the Rhythm In-Sync Adaptive Signal Timing System. Also, approve the annual continuation of Rhythm Engineering services to ensure ongoing system support, maintenance, and operational continuity. /AE.

• 5.Mr. Richard E Jones- uneven manway covers and work order cancellations. (Deferred from the August 25, 2026 committee meeting.

• 6.Approve Environmental Services to support the DCA OneGeorgia Authority Hurricane Disaster Relief Grant for the Woodlake Sewer and Water Project

• 7.Waste collection continuum for citizens of Augusta Richmond County in relation to Coastal Waste unresolved contract disputes with Metropolitan Waste. (Requested by Commissioner Tony Lewis).

• 8.Discuss Johns Road abandonment.   (Requested by Mayor Pro-Tem Wayne Guilfoyle) 

• 9.Motion to approve the minutes of the August 25, 2026 Engineering Services Committee Meeting.

• 10.Motion to approve the minutes of the August 11, 2026 Engineering Services Committee Meeting.

• 11.Approve Sole Source Procurement of #15 Aux Pump and Base from Templeton and Assoc.

• 12.Approve Sole Source Procurement of Deep Sea Controller from HI-Tech Power Systems Inc.

• 13.Approve lowest bidder for Bid 26-209 to M & C Lawn Care & Maintenance Services LLC.

• 14.Approve Sole Source Procurement of PLC Controller from Border States Inc.
