PUBLIC SAFETY

• 1.Motion to approve a sole source procurement for the purchase of three (3) MEIKO TopClean D firefighter decontamination units, associated accessories, detergents, rinse aid, and one-year preventive maintenance from North America Fire Equipment Company (NAFECO) in the amount of $151,245.00, plus applicable freight and taxes.

• 2.Motion to approve a sole source procurement for the purchase of twenty-eight (28) Scott X3 Pro Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) units with Pack Tracker and Heads-Up Display (HUD), and twenty (28) 30-minute, 4,500 psi carbon cylinders from Vallen in the amount of $270,909.00.

• 3.Motion to approve Insurance Policy for Augusta’s Land Mobile Radio System

• 4.Motion to approve a change order to increase Purchase Order P495166 with W.W. Williams by $31,641.62, from $24,458.83 to $56,100.45, to install a new engine in Aerial Truck 6.

• 5.Motion to accept the CACJ Operating Grant Award for the Superior Court Accountability Courts (Drug Court, Mental Health Court, and Veterans Court) in the amount of $494,773 with a MATCH requirement of $87,313. Designate Chief Superior Court Judge Flythe as Authorized Official

• 6.Motion to approve the minutes of the July 14, 2026 Public Safety Committee Meeting.
