PUBLIC SERVICES

• 1.Minister Dante Barley regarding Augusta Transit Services/ contract bus drivers.

• 2.Ms. Heather Dunaway-The Greater Augusta Arts Council and Public Art Advisory Panel wish to give a progress report/update of the Public Art Master Plan, Commission approval is needed on the updated Public Art Advisory Panel Policy and for the purchase of sculpture (voted on by the public and approved by the Public Art Advisory Panel) along the Augusta Sculpture Trail. 2) Also, Commission approval for an updated Memorandum of Understanding between the Greater Augusta Arts Council and the City of Augusta which re-confirms the Arts Council as the Public Art Agency for the City of Augusta.

• 3.Presentation and Discussion by Dr. Joyce Haskell and Jean Barney of the College Hill Chapter, NSDAR, and Consideration of Approval for a Proposed Granite Historical Marker in the Historic District Commemorating Princess Augusta and Recognizing Her Historical Significance to the Community.

• 4.Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) – For Information: Airport Zoning Ordinance Commencement.  Received as information by the Augusta Aviation Commission 09/24/2026.

• 5.Approve Change Order #1 to CW Matthews Contracting, Co. for Southeast Apron Construct in the amount of $29,013.39 (25BFA366).

• 6.Motion to receive as information an emergency procurement pursuant to Section 1-10-57 of the Augusta, Georgia Procurement Code for services to replace boiler and build boiler enclosure by Gold Mech, Inc., in the amount of $90,376.77.

• 7.Motion to approve the September 29, 2026 minutes Public Services Committee Meeting.
