ENGINEERING SERVICES
1.Motion to approve entering into Construction Agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for Greene Street-Part2 (13th St. to 5th St.) Improvements Project (PI #0021263). Also, authorize Augusta Mayor to execute Project Specific Construction Agreement and its associated documents (electronic and hard copy). /AE
2.Approve the award of “Solid Waste and Recycling Front Load Services” Contract to Georgia Waste System, LLC. (GWS) subject to receipt of signed contract and associated documents. The Contract is for five years with renewal option of two additional two years terms. AE/26-196
3.Approve Amendment 14 for capital improvements at the J. B. Messerly Wastewater Treatment Plant and associated budget amendments.
4.Receive update on the J. B. Messerly Wastewater Treatment Plant.
5.Approve additional fees in the amount of $407,255.00 to ISM Engineering for engineering services supporting project management, rainfall, and on-call engineering. ISM is a Prequalified Engineering Consultant (RFQ24-132)
6.Approve funding in the amount of $150,000 from vegetation management 2026 allocation to ensure continuity of county-wide right of way trees maintenance and removal services. /AE
7.Mr. Richard E Jones- uneven manway covers and work order cancellations. (Deferred from the August 25, 2026 committee meeting.
8.Motion to approve the minutes of the August 25, 2026 Engineering Services Committee Meeting.
